John o’Groats Trail

The John o’Groats Trail is a coastal walking route from Inverness to John o’Groats. The northerly section of the route takes in sea cliffs, harbours, coves, beaches and stunning panoramic views. The trail is challenging in some areas, and gentler in others - pictured above are the famous Whaligoe Steps, carved out of sheer cliff face!

Walk Thurso

If you’re a keen walker looking for a rewarding hike, Morven is not to be missed. The highest peak in Caithness, Morven looks out majestically over the landscape.
